The primary policy driver for Goyder Institute’s Northern Corridor research program is the Northern Economic Plan, the South Australian Government’s blueprint for a prosperous northern Adelaide, focused on creating jobs and empowering local communities. Goyder projects in the news

The Goyder Institute for Water Research'ss G-FLOWS project was featured in the Sunday Mail on 23 March 2019, spreading the word that the team found ancient water in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands. Early indications are that it could not only sustain the community's ongoing water needs but have significant economic development potential for the region if developed sustainably. Second term finishes strong – a year in review from the Director

Well, there’s no doubt that 2020 had some surprises in store for all of us. Aside from the personal challenges of operating in a global pandemic, many of our teams had to put field work on hold, limit regional travel and work from home without access to many of their tools and resources.
