The Goyder Institute for Water Research Agreement requires that the Director prepare an Annual Research and Development Plan and Budget for each financial year. This plan is to be submitted to the Research Advisory Committee for endorsement and then to the Management Board for approval, and recently the 2014-2015 Research and Development Plan was approved by the Board. 

The Research investment planned for the fifth year of the Institute has been targeted towards those short, targeted pieces of work that will add value to the previous investments made through the Goyder Institute.
